What a rough time I've had getting this thing going!!
What I must say to anyone who may stumble upon this blog, I am not eloquent in my writing, although with a bit of consistent effort I will become better!
What if I actually became the writer I dream of becoming!?? I think it would be the Lord, for I have so far to go! Nonetheless, I desire to write in a way that perhaps will bring a bit of delight to others=) I love people, I just do!
Blessings,
Tiff

1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.

1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What to do on a snowy Sunday when mom and dad are sick?
Here in Dallas, we have had the most marvelous weather! It has been in the high 60's-70's for crying out loud! However in one day the temps dropped and the wind kicked up and we had a SNOW STORM, 1-2 inches stuck to the ground and sitting on all the new budding plants...UGH!! Don't get me wrong I love snow, but I have mentally changed seasons and I am ready for all the activities a normal spring in Dallas, TX brings...
We were not feeling well this morning and the wind was BLOWING and the temps way low, so we played hookie from church...I thought I would give you some snapshots of our day....

Fire in the fire place.....burning something from the garage...
My Clematis starting to grow...Oh how I hope the snow doesn't kill it off!!
My backyard view this morning...
My coffee =)
The beginnings of my Creamy Tomato Basil soup...
The very old camcorder plugged in for a fun family surprise...
The kids sitting on the couch awaiting the family videos...
Our dog Chloe curled up in her spot...
All the videos we intend to watch and organize...
One of the spring projects we would like to tackle is to convert all these video's into DVD's. How wonderful it will be to downsize this bulk and have all our family movies more accessible...
Later I plan on making some homemade icecream...

After a long week!!!
Saturday is upon us after the longest week! You wouldn't think a vacation from school and a week to just do what you want would be long and never ending, those weeks seem to fly by, but not here in our home! This week all of my kids flaws seemed to be present at the same time and because I was sleeping in and being lazy I didn't spend my morning quiet time regularly this week! It was a serious recipe for disaster! I do not recommend missing quiet times on day's you know you are going to be dealing with disciplinary issues and hosting 12 year old sleep overs! My insecurities have been rearing and my patience has been non existent! So needless to say, I am ready for my crazy schedule to resume! I am ready for my alarm clock to go off and for me to get up and come down to spend time with the Lord and do the crazy day thing! I am also about ready to give up my coffee fast! I am SO ready!! It has been so good for me, but I seriously love my coffee!! I am surprised how easy it was to give it up, and I didn't know it was going to just be a fast, I thought it was forever, but I am really sensing it is over! I think...
Love and many blessings,
For today, we did a bit of spring cleaning, and in a few minutes I will head upstairs and clean my room...the boys are earning a movie for tonight by wiping all my blinds down, and vacuuming the car out. Jaden and I will head to Dallas to check out a dance competition with my very dearest of dear friends. After an emotional and defeated week I am excited it's over and I am so looking forward to Monday's arrival, for it is a perfect day to "start over"...
I will leave you with some photo's of the family...we had our pictures taken in Dec and I never posted them on here....

John 3:16
My Daddy has changed the paradigm of my family in one short generation, thank you for being you!
Happy birthday
Just to the rest who don't know my Dad, his name is John, and he was born on 3-16, and yes, the Lord has used him mightily through his humble grace driven life, and I am blessed to call him Dad!
One day last summer, Mom's and my birthday to be exact, my dad baptized my kids, it was simple yet profound, like a Jewish Papa passing down his blessing.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His ONE AND ONLY SON that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have eternal life!
Are you a whosoever??
